 Placing an Order
To place an order for letterpress invitations or other letterpress stationery, please call us at 888.869.0659. For us to offer a level of customer service that is in keeping with the quality of our product, we need speak to you either over the phone or in person if you reside in Northern California. We strongly recommend coming to see us in person if you live in Northern California. It helps in the design process, and we love to meet our clients in person whenever possible. Due to the high level of attention we give our clients, appointments are required to visit the studio.

 Scheduling an Appointment
Please call in advance to arrange an appointment to visit our studio. Studio hours are 8:30 to 5:30 Monday-Friday. Weekend appointments are available and fill up quickly, so please call for our schedule in advance. Please plan on two hours for an initial consultation appointment.

 Vision
Tell us about the design you have in mind, specific words that describe your style, your vision for your wedding or event, dominant colors you are conisidering, and any other details about you that we might find helpful in designing and printing your perfect invitation.

 What We Need from You
Please e-mail us all the wording for each piece of stationery you would like to order, including the wording for the response cards and the return addresses for each envelope. On the response card, please remember to include a response date, and any menu choices your guests will need to make in advance. For wording etiquette and options, we recommend you visit www.verseit.com or review the samples you have received from us.

Please also complete the price estimator and send us your proposed order including all the individual pieces and their respective quantities. Click here for pricing.

Also include:

1. the ink color(s) for each piece
2. typefaces you would like to use
3. motifs or icons you would like to use
4. day and evening contact information, including phone numbers, email addresses
   and a mailing address where you can receive mail during the invitation design process

 Quantities
Our minimum order is 50 pieces - it is not cost effective for us to print fewer than 50. Our price breaks are in quantities of 10, so if your order falls between quantities of 10, please order the next increment up. We include 10% additional envelopes in your package. If you need additional envelopes (above the amount included in your package) we can print these at the time we print your invitations for $.25 an envelope. Click here for pricing.

Reprints
We advise you to order extra quantities of all printed materials. Should you require more, the cost of reprinting is much higher than the cost of ordering extras initially.

 Contract and Deposit
Within one business day of receiving your order, we will e-mail or fax you an invoice for the deposit as well as our contract and payment sheet. You will review, sign and mail or fax back the contract with payment information. A 50% deposit is required at the time of ordering, the balance will be due when we send the invitations order to print. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and personal checks drawn on US banks. If paying by Visa or Mastercard, please be sure to give us the billing address of the card you are using so we may accurately process the transaction.

After we receive:

a) your order
b) your e-mail including items outlined above
c) your signed contract, and
d) your deposit payment,

we will design your invitations and e-mail you a PDF file of the designs to review, edit and fax back to us. You may make TWO rounds of changes to the designs, and with each round we will e-mail you a new PDF. Any changes beyond the second round are billed at $75 per round on your final invoice, so please take the time to proofread carefully and note any changes clearly. We are not responsible for typos or mistakes once you sign off with your approval to print. Please note that colors shown on the PDF files are approximate, not exact and your invitations will NOT perfectly match the color you see on your computer screen.

 Final Approval and Proofreading
When your designs are final, review them carefully, note any changes clearly, and sign off before faxing the proofs back to Dauphine Press.

Please PROOFREAD CAREFULLY. Dauphine Press is not responsible for errors, and will not incur the costs of reprinting orders, nor will we refund your deposit or final payment. Your signature on a proof indicates to us that you have approved all artwork, text, illustrations and colors, and we may therefore proceed with printing.

 Press Date and Final Payment
When we receive your returned proofs with your approval signature, we will schedule your press date. Please allow two to four weeks for shipping from this date, and allow for extra time for shipping. Final payment is due the day your job goes to print. Please note that if you plan to pay by check, we reserve the right to hold your invitations until your check clears. No invitations are sent before final payment is received.

 Shipping in the United States
We ship your invitations via insured UPS. If you require rush shipping, please let us know, this is available at an additional charge. We pack invitations with great care and detail and we have never encountered damages due to shipping or packing in the hundreds and hundreds of packages we ship each year.

 Shipping to Foreign Countries
We ship via FedEx to countries in western Europe, Asia, Canada, Mexico, US Territories, and APO/FPO addresses. If in doubt, please check with us to find out if we ship to your country.

 Foreign Languages
We have designed and printed invitations in French, Italian, Spanish, German and Hebrew. We welcome working with you on your foreign or multi-language invitations.
